Architecture seeks to find balance between form and function. Our studio strives to create considered and refined spaces that enrich the lives of the people who inhabit them. Successful architecture should respond and connect to the natural environment, it is our ethos to design in a way that embodies this.

Based in the seaside suburb of Sumner, Christchurch but working throughout the South Island, Salt Architecture + Interiors is led by Josh Newsome-White. A long time surfer, Josh has a strong connection with the ocean, which inspires him to create architecture that treads lightly on the environment.
